Celine in Slumdog link to break India
from Rav Singh in Mumbai

While everyone prepares for tonight’s Brits, I'm in Mumbai in India on a short break in the sweltering 34-degree heat. I've been to more than 15 Brit Awards, so don't feel too guilty.
Anyway, someone I thought I wouldn't be writing about from over here is Celine Dion.
She's decided she wants to have bigger hits in the east and has signed up Slumdog Millionaire composer A R Rahman (pictured with his Oscars for the smash-hit film). He was responsible for that huge Pussycat Dolls hit Jai Ho (You Are My Destiny).
I bumped into Mr Rahman who told me: ‘It's early days but I'm looking forward to working with Celine. It's going to very interesting and I love a challenge.’
Meanwhile, well done to Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan (a recent guest on Friday Night With Jonathan Ross).
His new film, My Name Is Khan just opened here and one person paid 1,000 euros on the black market to watch it pre-release. Shah is bigger than Tom Cruise and Bruce Willis put together – so think on that!
He’s planning to come to London and start working on a new script and I'm told a certain girlband could be performing on the film’s soundtrack.
But I'm not ALLOWED to say who the GIRLS are… work it out! RAVelations blog:
