High glam with Girls Aloud at 30 Days gala evening

It was a night of high glamour last night as Kimberley Walsh, Nicola Roberts and Blur’s Alex James were among the celebrities clinking cocktail glasses at The National Magazine Company’s 30 Days of Fashion & Beauty Gala.

Reveal’s fashion & beauty girls put on their highest heels for the swanky event at London’s Natural History Museum. They joined a host of magazine editors and industry insiders, which showcased iconic photographs by celebrity photographer, Lorenzo Agius, of everyone from Sienna Miller to Kimberley herself, which went for £3,000 each!

Celebs dug deep into their pockets as a donation from each sale went to Breast Cancer Care and just an hour into the event, £20,000 had already been raised.

Kimberley scored style points in a gorgeous coral dress, while Nicola opted for a daring sheer jumpsuit with very strategically placed embroidery!

Reveal’s own Nicky Hambleton-Jones – who’s going to be a mum in the new year – looked stunning in a black Isabella Oliver one-shouldered dress.

Other stars stepping out on the red carpet were Sophie Anderton, Carly Zucker, Laura Bailey, Claudia Winkleman and high-street fashion honchos, Stuart Rose of Marks & Spencer and Topshop’s Sir Philip Green.

The pink champagne flowed freely, but cocktails were the drink of choice, with Cosmopolitans, Moscow Mules and three-berry Caipirowskas on the menu.

Trays of canapés did the rounds throughout the evening. We munched on tempura, spicy prawn tortillas, sesame tuna and rare roast beef with white truffles, before rounding the night off with mini doughnuts, marshmallows and mini macaroons. Foodie Alex James – the ex-Blur bassist who’s become a farmer – is sure to have approved!
