Peaches axed by bra firm

A ‘furious’Peaches Geldof has been sacked as the face of lingerie firm Ultimo after sordid allegations about her private life.

The lucrative undies brand dropped Miss Geldof with ‘immediate effect’ after a series of photos appeared on the internet of the 21 year old posing topless with a bloodied plaster on her thigh.

Ultimo got 3000 complaints from parents and company founder Michelle Mone said: “As a brand that targets young women, we feel it is impossible for Peaches to continue.”

The company ordered that promotional material featuring Miss Geldof be removed from department stores, websites and window displays around the country.

A close pal of the star said: “She was incredibly proud of being Miss Ultimo. She got a kick out of being a model. She’s furious at being sacked.”

Miss Geldof strongly denies claims she was taking drugs at the time the images were taken and her pals say she is furious at these ‘untrue claims’ and breach of trust over the pictures.

Miss Geldof’s mum, the late Paula Yates, was equally as famous for her high-profile romances and personal problems as for her work on TV. She died of a heroin overdose in 2000.
