Col leaves Wayne trailing in her wake

It’s hard being a new mum, especially at Christmas, but being married to Wayne Rooney makes life that little bit easier. Lucky Coleen took to her favourite sport yesterday as she hit the shops with her footballer husband in tow.

Coleen, sporting a long quilted coat and leopard-print dress, kept her hands snugly in her pockets whilst the men around her struggled with their heavy loads out shopping in Manchester.

Wayne carried their son Kai from shop to shop, leaving Coleen free to carry her bags. When the pair emerged empty-handed it looked as if they too were planning a credit-crunch Christmas, but soon after, a smartly-clad salesman carrying four huge bags behind them.
