When Su Pollard met Nicky Hambleton-Jones...

It was a dream assignment for our associate editor Wendy Rigg and style columnist Nicky Hambleton-Jones - styling 80s TV star Su Pollard in a fashionable new look.

Su, 58, and a star of classic 80s comedy Hi-De-Hi, is known for her wild and wacky style so we asked TV style guru Nicky Hambleton-Jones to give her a makeunder to reflect her style and age but keep some of her funkiness.

Su was more than happy to spend a day with us and says of hew new look: ‘I like this orange dress but I couldn’t possibly walk anywhere in these heels. The dress is lovely and the jewellery but there’s not nearly enough of it. I feel a bit bare without it all piled on.’

In our exclusive feature in today’s Reveal, Su also gives her lowdown on today’s fashion icons, including Katie Price. Su says of the former glamour model: ‘I love her in shorts and socks with heels. Fan-bloody-tastic! The girl’s done good.’
