Thandie gets friendly with Mickey

Triumphant actor Mickey Rourke picked up more than he bargained for at the Elle Style Awards last night, when Thandie Newton couldn't keep her hands off him.

Mickey had just scooped the best actor gong when the stunning 36-year-old actress rushed up and grabbed him in a clinch on the red carpet.

Dressed in a rainbow dress, Thandie looked as though she had raided the costume department of Joseph And His Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat moments earlier.

But despite looking slightly bewildered, bemused Mickey, 56, showed no sign of letting go and the pair stood locked in the embrace for a few seconds, stunning onlookers.

Other winners at the A-list event included Keira Knightley who picked up best actress and pop star Kylie Minogue who was named Woman of the Year.
